The production of the IMFN Publication on Model Forest Impacts has begun! Over 30 abstracts from Model Forest members across the world were submitted and reviewed by the editorial board members and the Secretariat. The selected abstracts were chosen according to their ability to meet the established criteria and authors of successful abstracts have now received notification and a copy of the manuscript guidelines. The articles will be written over the next few months and work on editing the competed articles is slated to begin this spring. The IMFN publication is expected to be launched at the 2011 Global Forum in Spain and will be distributed to heads of forest agencies globally as well as international organizations working in sustainable natural resource management.
